In 1992, Ko Lanta Diving Center was the first company to open a diving business in southern Thailand. We discovered a paradise and are existing since. The island of Koh Lanta counts among insiders still as a insider tip with typical Thai flair, beautiful beaches and numerous, wonderfully comfortable bungalow resorts right on the different beaches.
Our cozy diving center with a small shop and restaurant is located in the heart of Saladan, right on the main street next to the Polyclinic. We combine the necessary standard of diving safety with a maximum of individual diving freedom. In each case a diving guide leads in small groups through the fascinating coral variety.
A family atmosphere, professional service, reliable organization and exciting dives in unique and fascinating underwater landscapes characterize us! With the Ko Lanta Diving Center Team everyone enjoys a soothing and relaxing holiday with a Thai flair. Diving training is usually done in accordance with CMAS and PADI guidelines in small groups.
The ChockSomBoon 1 is a fast, 20 m long day trip ship designed especially for divers. Here you will find all the amenities that make our exits to a unique experience. The ship drives daily to the most beautiful dive sites of the southern Andaman Sea. In addition to a variety of breakfast, lunch and tropical fruit snacks, water and soft drinks are also free on board.
On the ship, 30 divers can comfortably sit on 2 decks. Each one dives in small guided groups with 12 l aluminum bottles with DIN + INT connections. On request, 15 l bottles are also available.
All regulators of the dive center are equipped with pressure gauge, depth gauge and octopus. Our ship carries all prescribed safety devices constantly, in addition there is a defibrillator and emergency oxygen permanently on board. Two compressors with electric motor provide the tanks with exhaust-free air for diving. In addition to 220V power strips, for quick recharge of UV lamps or flashes, various books for identifying and determining tropical marine fish are also on board.
